Carrie Fisher and Warwick Davis

A Star Wars behind the scenes photo. Carrie Fisher and Warwick Davis (Ewok Wicket) on the set of Return of the Jedi behind the scenes. Warwick Davis was 11 years old when he did the Star Wars movie. He was originally cast as an extra Ewok, but Kenny Baker, who was originally going to be Wicket, fell ill, George Lucas picked Davis to be the new Wicket after seeing how he carried himself as an Ewok.

This photo was taken at the set showing Jabba The Hutt (looks like they are sitting on him) and Pricess Leia in a bikini when she was his slave.

amazing star wars letter

Star Wars fact – In the book, Zorba the Hutt's Revenge, Luke Skywalker bought a housekeeping droid as a gift to Han Solo. He got it from the Jawas on Tatooine. The droid model was a KT-18 and they called it Kate for short. She had a pearlescent outer shell and was built to resemble a human female in size and shape. Cool housewarming present hey?

Every Star Wars Actor in One Photo

This is a pretty cool Star Wars photo isn’t it? I think it would have to have every single major actor from all the Star Wars movies that have been made.

I guess as with the newer movies most acting is CGI and green screen isn’t it?

Darth in a pink suit surround by police guards

I assume this is at some kind of protest. Any way, Darth Vader looks cool in his pink helmet and matching pink suit. I don’t know how the police riot squad are not all looking at him, maybe the people behind Darth are even stranger or maybe they are Princess Leia in a bikini Smile (it’s not called Slave Princess or Slave Leia anymore , stupid george lucas changed it to Jabbas Prisoner – but check any older Star Wars stuff it always says Slave Princess or Slave Leia)

Jar Jar Binks, like most Gungans, was skinny, lanky and had big frills behind his head. He was exiled from Otoh Gunga for repeatedly making blunders that placed other Gungan members in danger, including crashing Boss Nass’ heyblibber, swamping Boss Nass’s mansion while standing-in as a caterer, and opening the bubbles of the creatures in Otoh Gunga’s zoo.

Jar Jar was eating clams and drifting around the marshlands of Naboo when the Trade Federation began landing its assault force. He was saved by Qui-Gon Jinn, who rescued Jar Jar from added disciplinary action by demanding a life-debt on him. Boss Nass was hesitant to relinquish the chance to penalize Jar Jar, but was forced to comply with the life debt. Jar Jar then travelled with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Kenobi, aiding in protecting Queen Amidala throughout her skirmish with the Federation.

Jar Jar’s relationship with Queen Amidala led to a better relationship when she asked Boss Nass for support in the Battle of Naboo. Boss Nass attributed Jar Jar with getting the Gungans and humans together in peace, and was promoted to the rank of General for his hard work. Jar Jar Binks was acted by Ahmad Best in the movie Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

How to make Princess Leia bikini, slave Leia, Jabbas prisoner costume

A little about the costume first. I have read that Carrie Fisher said that her costumes in the first 2 Star Wars movies were so long that people couldn’t tell if she was a woman. Well, the scanty outfit she wore in Return of the Jedi changed that. The Leia bikini was created by Aggie Guerard Rodgers. The costume department made a mold of Carrie Fisher's body so they could do a custom fit and they made forms of the slave bikini to suit different scenes in the movie. One was a hard metal one that she wore when she was not undertaking any stunts and one was made of formed rubber and lined with leather so it would be a bit more comfortable when doing stunts.

Anyway – How to make a Star Wars Princess Leia Metal Bikini

Put on your favourite cute bra then wrap your chest and shoulders in plastic wrap but not tight so it doesn’t flatten your chest, then use cotton cloth strips and watered down PVA glue as a cloth version of papier mache – I guess cloth mache. Get someone to help you as you can’t glue and stand still at the same time. Work fast as it dries fairly quickly.

When it goes hard you'll have a realistic cast of your breasts and chest area. Use a marker pen to make lines where you will build up on the bra with paper clay (you can get it at art shops - it's like a premade papier mache like soft clay) to mould up the raised metal patterns on the bra. Once it's all dry take it off and seal it all over with PVA then paint in metallic paint etc so it looks the part.

The bottom plate you make the same way and then finish it off by sticking two long strips of red, stretchy fabric to it. The strips should be wide enough to cover the insides of the thighs, about 250mm wide The strips should hang from the front and back of the bikini bottom down to the floor. Straps to hold it all together can be made from leather.

For the headpiece, once again, mold one using paper clay on a piece of cardboard.

Simpsons Star Wars Episode

The Simpsons have never had a Star Wars episode as far as I know. Family Guy has had two, I am not sure if a third is being made though.

I think a Simpsons episode would be pretty good, do you? Or would it be more of a copy of Family Guy. I like this poster someone has drawn, interesting that there is no Darth Vader (I know Vader wouldn’t be in this scene but just about all posters have Darth Vader in it, don't they?)

cool star wars photos the simpsons homer the hutt I thought I would just look up about Star Wars Family Guy and there will be a third episode – called Family Guy It’s A Trap, out in December. Looks like Carrie has a voice role in this one. Here is a picture of the DVD cover.

Princess Leia the Coy Side of the Force from 1977

Just a simple press photo as part of promoting Star Wars Episode 4 I think. Princess Leia looking as good as ever.

cool star wars leia 1977 coy side of the force

Everyone knows that Carrie Fisher played the part of Leia Organa in all of the three Star Wars movies but did you know about Ann Sachs? She was Princess Leia Organa in the radio dramatisations of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill give each other a cuddle

Luuke Skywalker (note the spelling of Luuke, not Luke) was a clone created by Joruus C'baoth. It was cloned from the hand Luke lost in the course of his battle against his father,Darth Vader, on Cloud City. The clone, as had been all the
clones that have been developed too speedily in their Force resilient vats, was mentally unstable and dangerous. Luuke, the clone, was defeated by Mara Jade (Mara was then Luke Skywalkers wife)

Mark Hamill played Luke Skywalker in the three Star Wars films, and also the voice in the Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back Radio Dramas that played on National Public Radio.

I have just read about Gary Kurtz. He was the producer/second unit director of movies Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back and was the one who came up with the Empire Strikes Back title. He split with George Lucas over a dispute while planning Return of the Jedi.

Kurtz said - We had an outline and George changed everything in it. Instead of bittersweet and poignant he wanted a euphoric ending with everybody happy. The original idea was that they would rescue Han Solo in the early part of the story but that he would then die in the middle part of the film in a raid on an Imperial base. George then decided he didn’t want any of the principals killed becuase by that time there were really big toy sales and did not want to stop that.

The ending of the film that Kurtz favoured was going to have the rebel forces in tatters, Leia grappling with her new duties as queen and Luke walking off alone like Clint Eastwood in the spaghetti westerns. Much more interesting than and an ending that would have been a more emotionally nuanced finale to an epic adventure than the silly forest celebration of the Ewoks that essentially ended the trilogy with a teddy bear luau.

He also did not like Lucas idea of a second Death Star, which he felt would be too derivative of the 1977 film. So we agreed that I should probably leave.

Star Wars IV Carrie Fisher Behind the Scenes Photo

A nice photo of Carrie Fisher posing for the camera while filming Star Wars Episode IV – The original and best Star Wars movie I think.

Other people had auditioned to be the famous Princess Leia and one that you can see on youtube, apart from Carrie Fishers audition, is Cindy Williams (the co – star of Laverne and Shirley, the 70’s sit com). I wonder if she would have made a good princess. Gee , her life would have changed if she got the part.

Cool Star Wars - behind the scenes Star Wars Episode IV Fisher, Hamill, Ford, Mayhew

This is a pretty good photo of behind the scenes filming during Star Wars Episode IV with Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Peter Mayhew.

The starship that intercepted Han Solo and and his cohort Chewbacca all the way through their most historic Kessel Run was called The Assessor. Han Solo was forced to abandon the consignment of spice he was transporting, but was not capable to get it back and deliver it to Jabba the Hutt. This put him totally in debt, and forced him to hide out on the planet Tatooine.

Cool Star Wars, Carrie Fisher behind the scenes 1977

Here is a pretty rare photo of Carrie Fisher just relaxing on the set of Star Wars. I am not sure what Episode it is – Episode IV , V, VI. Could someone let me know please.

behind the scenes star wars episode iv CARRIE FISHER Cool Star Wars facts – Beedo was the name of Greedo's relative that went to work for Jabba the Hutt after Greedo died. He was a servile self-seeker who always attempted to win favour by flattering Jabba but was afraid of Jabba’s intense anger if he make any error.
