Star Wars Hamburgers

Looks like a hamburger chain in France had a range of Star Wars Burgers when Episode 1 was released. There was a Darth Vader burger, Jedi Burger and a Dark burger.

The Darth Vader burger looks the best – a black bun and looks like chilli's in the salad. The Dark burger looks like a Big Mac copy.

Yum. The cholesterol is strong with this one. I find your lack of onions disturbing.

Star Wars Fun Fact – According to the West End Games' Star Wars Role-Playing Game sourcebooks. Bandigos are a species of brutal omnivores that are native to the region around Temptation Canyon on Sriluur. Bandigos look a lot like large, dog-like animals with clawed limbs and wrinkled skin. They lived in the sand, and ambushed their prey by hiding under a cover of sand until the prey got close enough to capture. These four-legged creatures let out long, evil howls at night, and many historians believe that the prehistoric Weequay thought these howls were created by the water nymphs which existed deep inside Temptation Canyon.

Star Wars fun fact -  Yoda was able to hide on his home planet Dagobah because the planet was bathed in Dark Side energy when a Dark Jedi died on the planet – this shielded Yoda from scans for Light Side energy when Palpatine tried to destroy all Jedis.

This is a pretty good behind the scenes Star Wars photo showing all the main actors from all the Star Wars movies made plus George Lucas holding a Yoda puppet.

Jar Jar Binks, like most Gungans, was skinny, lanky and had big frills behind his head. He was exiled from Otoh Gunga for repeatedly making blunders that placed other Gungan members in danger, including crashing Boss Nass’ heyblibber, swamping Boss Nass’s mansion while standing-in as a caterer, and opening the bubbles of the creatures in Otoh Gunga’s zoo.

Jar Jar was eating clams and drifting around the marshlands of Naboo when the Trade Federation began landing its assault force. He was saved by Qui-Gon Jinn, who rescued Jar Jar from added disciplinary action by demanding a life-debt on him. Boss Nass was hesitant to relinquish the chance to penalize Jar Jar, but was forced to comply with the life debt. Jar Jar then travelled with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Kenobi, aiding in protecting Queen Amidala throughout her skirmish with the Federation.

Jar Jar’s relationship with Queen Amidala led to a better relationship when she asked Boss Nass for support in the Battle of Naboo. Boss Nass attributed Jar Jar with getting the Gungans and humans together in peace, and was promoted to the rank of General for his hard work. Jar Jar Binks was acted by Ahmad Best in the movie Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

Star Wars movies IV, V, VI online and in Lego

Well this isn’t a cool Star Wars photo but is a cool Star Wars video. This online video show the best three Star Wars movies – the original trilogy episodes IV - A New Hope, V - The Empire Strikes Back, and VI - Return of the Jedi. All in with Star Wars Lego and all three movies in around three minutes.

I assume these Star Wars bears are toys you can buy but then again maybe someone has just made them up  themselves – I don’t know. Either way that look pretty good and I can see people wanting to collect these star wars teddy bears.

Looks like there is Yoda bear,Darth Maul bear, Darth Vader bear, C3P0 bear, R2D2 bear, Wookie bear, Ewok bear, Trooper bear, Boba Fettbear and others I cant think of at the moment!

Japanese Star Wars poster with Yoda at Tokyo train station

This is an old train station poster advertising the then newly released Star Wars movies Episodes one to three. It looks pretty good but show , to me, how ‘computery” Yoda really looked like in the new movies. I much rathered the Yoda puppet in the old episodes 4, 5, and 6.

Star Wars fun fact: In Star Wars Episode One there was a female Jedi Master called Yaddle. She was a member member of the Jedi Council because she was known on the Council for her patience, compassion, and wisdom. She was the same species as Yoda and was only 477 years old (young?) at the time of the Battle of Naboo. It is said that she is one of the very few Jedi that were entrusted with the knowledge of Morichro. Morichro was one of the most dangerous Force techniques known to the Jedi Masters of the Old Republic. It was a Force that is forbidden to all but a few Jedi Masters. What it does is it rapidly slows the body functions of other beings, resulting in a quick death.

What pranksters Obi won and Yoda are, messing around with poor old Vader trying to get some photos at a photo booth. quick star wars fact: The swamp planet that was home to Yoda was called Dagobah and was in the Sluis sector. The planet's day lasts 22 Earth hours, and its year is 340 days long. Towards the end of the Dark Jedi Insurrection, a Dark Jedi hid here and caused the planet to be bathed in Dark Side energy. Maybe this is why Jedi Master Yoda could hide on the planet when Palpatine was eradicating the Jedi, seeing his Light Side would have been covered by the Dark Side energy on the planet.

I wonder how long the cat watched the star wars movie. Maybe it just wanted to see the part when Luke finds out Darth is his father :) Cool Star Wars Photos fact: Jedi Knights are trained in the use of the Force, and use the wonderful light saber for their choice of weapon. Senator Palpatine knew that Jedi Knights were the only thing that could stop his ultimate rule so he sent forces out to kill all the Jedi. He nearly succeeded too because the only Jedi that survived was Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Darth Vader.
